cyanotypes of byproduct material from Jacobson Salt manufacturing process in Tillamook Oregon.

During the manufacturing process of sea salt the minerals that are in the salt that collect at the bottom of evaporated bats. The sun traditionally evaporated salt in the manufacturing process. Cyanotype ink is activated by the sun. In this series fragments of the byproduct are laid out and gone back into with mixed media, water color, charcoal and pen.
