I'm an artist. My materials drive my practice. I spend my days exploring their physical, emotional, narrative potential, forever in search of new ways to investigate and manipulate them. My goal is to give old things new life – to stretch their use well past expiration or planned obsolescence – and to envision possibilities for raw materials beyond their purposes as currently understood.
I am currently an MFA candidate as an Olin Fellow at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis. I received my BA from Wheaton College, MA with a double major in Visual Art and Economics.
